  • Reno Police remind residents about recreational marijuana regulations

    Recreational marijuana will be available for sale to the general public in the City of Reno on or after July 1, 2017, once the Department of Taxation approves the state retail license. City officials and the Reno Police Department would like to remind residents about laws in place that dictate the places people can, and cannot, use recreational marijuana.

    Effective July 1, 2017, the City of Reno will implement a new Fee Schedule. As part of the 17/18 budget adoption, Council approved the City’s updated list of fees and charges for services, utilizing the results of a fee study conducted by Fiscal Choice Consulting. It was the first fee study done at the City of Reno since 2006.
