Kerrie Koski was promoted to City Engineer at the City of Reno on October 25, 2019. Hired as an Assistant Engineer in 2004, Koski was promoted to Street Program Manager in 2007 and Engineering Manager in 2017.

The City Engineer provides day-to-day leadership and managerial oversight to assist in the planning, design, development and implementation of the City’s capital improvement projects, engineering standards and Public Works programs. Koski has an enduring passion for public service and determination to bring on positive change as she works closely with all other City departments to support the community she loves.

Koski has spent most of her professional career in the design and construction of Public infrastructure. In addition to her experience at the City of Reno, she spent 17 years working for a local private civil engineering consulting firm where she worked her way upward, beginning her career as an Engineering Field Technician and ultimately to Construction Services Manager.

Koski received her Bachelor of Science in Construction Engineering from Montana State University, Bozeman, Montana in 1982 and she is a licensed Civil Engineer in the State of Nevada.
