Contact Chris Pingree

Chris Pingree was appointed as the City of Reno’s Director of Development Services in September 2021. The Development Services department was created at that time to improve transparency, consistency, and clarity in the areas of development, planning, and safety.

Pingree began at the City of Reno in July 2015 as the Assistant Building and Safety Manager, and was promoted to the Building and Safety Manager in 2018.

Pingree has an extensive 25+ year background in both the public and private sectors within the development and construction industry.

Prior to working at the City of Reno, Pingree worked for the Clark County Building Department from 2005-2015, after a 10-year span in the construction industry as a Journeyman Carpenter.
