Gentle Yoga
Instructor: Karen Hambleton
Location: Evelyn Mount Northeast Community Center; 1301 Valley Rd Reno NV
This is a gentle movement yoga class. When you are in a pose you are supporting yourself throughout the pose in a particular shape, in awareness & observation which helps achieve the desired benefit to the nervous system and muscular system, the chemistry, and the fascia and release chronic tension patterns and holdings. This is an easy flowing class so enjoy!

Restorative Yoga

S.E.A.T. (Supported Exercise for Ageless Training)

Join Robin, experienced instructor and certified personal trainer for this chair-based fitness program that strengthens body and mind. This low impact program is inclusive and accessible to all, regardless of ability.

StrongHER
Instructor: Anna Jamtaas

StrongHER is a fitness and nutritional class taught by Personal Trainer and Nutritional Consultant Anna Jamtaas. Join Anna to learn why and how women should incorporate strength training into their movement routines.
What you’ll learn:
- Why women need to be strength training, especially as we age
- How often & long you should strength train
- How to properly strength train with free weights to avoid injury
- When to incorporate cardio training as part of your program
- Why women need to train different than men
- What to eat before & after you train to ensure your efforts make a difference
Learn more about Anna:
As a daughter of a female health coach and granddaughter of a human rights activist, Anna’s passion for exercise science and helping people started early. Throughout her life her athletic journey has evolved, but strength has been a mainstay. Suffering from low hormones, amenorrhea, hypothyroidism, h-pylori, and SIBO, she’s faced her own share of health struggles. Nutrition, mindset, building movement, and recovery serve as pillars of her health approach. Anna’s goal is to help as many women as possible through the hormonal journey that is adolescent, premenstrual, perimenopause, and eventually menopause.
Anna graduated with a BA from the University of Washington, completed her Nutrition Consultant program with Bauman College and is an ACE Group Fitness Instructor.
Zumba Gold
