Sky Tavern

Sky Tavern is a non-profit regional center providing exceptional summer and winter sports training, competitions, recreation, and events—which are aimed at children, families, and accessible to all.

Since 1948, its volunteer-based Junior Ski Program has taught over 100,000 kids to ski and snowboard.

More recently, Sky Tavern has become a year-round location for mountain biking, camps, and the popular summer music series.

Project Discovery Leadership Challenge Program

Project Discovery programs consist of a progressive series of carefully designed high-impact training activities to enhance skills related to leadership, team-building, communication and problem solving.

The Sky Tavern site is one of the largest ropes courses in the U.S. and includes over 50 elements. The course is nestled in an Aspen and Fir forest at the Sky Tavern Conference Center only 25 minutes from downtown Reno.
