Reno Housing Authority
The Reno Housing Authority (RHA) owns and operates numerous affordable housing developments throughout Washoe County. They also operate the Housing Choice Voucher Program, known as Section 8. For more information, individuals should contact the RHA.
Youth Resources
The Reno Youth Network provides an online resource guide for approximately 200 youth service providers in the Washoe County area.

Legal Assistance (Evictions and Other Tenant/Landlord Concerns)
- Washoe Legal Services assists low-income individuals who are facing eviction or foreclosure, among other services.
- Nevada Legal Services is a non-profit organization providing free legal services, including evictions from all housing types and denial of housing assistance, to low income Nevadans.
Individuals should contact the organizations directly for additional information on eligibility and programs.
Housing Discrimination Questions
For questions about possible discrimination in housing transactions, including rental, sales, and lending, and information about your rights and responsibilities, contact the Silver State Fair Housing Council (SSFHC). The SSFHC is a nonprofit agency advocating for equal housing opportunity for all Nevadans, regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, gender, family status, disability, sexual orientation, or gender identification/expression.
