Connect, Inspire, Activate

City of Reno Economic Development delivers connection, inspiration and activation for opportunities and initiatives focused on increasing investment in our community.

Place-based economic development in our biggest little city, like downtown revitalization, attracts community investment, while celebrating what makes Reno a choice location and enhances quality of life for all Renoites – making Reno not only a place you’re proud to call home, but also a place that you love.

As part of this, we are placing a significant amount of effort into making our downtown cleaner, safer, and more vibrant because we all know that every great city has a great downtown! Learn more about our Virginia Street Placemaking Study, ReStore Facade & Tenant Improvement program, and Truckee River Vision Plan.
