The purpose of the Redevelopment Agency is to attract and assist businesses both independently and through public-private partnerships, to energize the Truckee River, to eliminate physical and social blight, and to develop a mix of uses including quality downtown housing, all of which will improve the quality of life for our citizens, create value, and position the City as the economic, civic, recreational, cultural, and entertainment capital of the region.
