The Human Rights Commission was created to serve as a forum for discussion of human rights issues and to propose solutions for the improvement of human relations in the city, and will make recommendations to the City Council with regard to the development of programs for the promotion of social justice, diversity/inclusion, equal opportunity and human dignity among all citizens and visitors of the city.
