The Charter Committee was established to review the Reno City Charter in its entirety to identify any changes that would provide for a more modern, effective and efficient City government.  The Committee consists of members appointed by each Council Member and the Mayor, as well as members appointed by the Legislative delegation representing the residents of the City of Reno.  The application process applies ONLY to appointments made by each Council Member and the Mayor.  Members appointed by Council Members and the Mayor will serve during the term of the person by whom he or she is appointed.  To be eligible to serve as a member of the Charter Committee, a person must be a registered voter in the City of Reno and must reside in the City of Reno during his or her term of office.
