A change to your business license can be made through our online portal. You must be linked to your business license account and select the Amendment feature to make any changes.

The following changes to your business must be reported to the Business Licensing Department within 15 days:
  • Change of Licensee(s) - Requires an updated Nevada Secretary of State filing
  • Change of Business Name - Requires an updated Nevada Secretary of State filing
  • Change of Fictitious Name - Requires an updated Fictitious Name filing
  • Change of Entity - Requires an updated Nevada Secretary of State filing, Department of Taxation filing, Department of Industrial Relations filing, and Fictitious Name filing (if applicable).
  • Change of Mailing Address
  • Closure of Business
The following changes must be reported to the Business Licensing Department within three (3) days:
  • Change of Physical Location
  • Change of Business Description
Licenses cannot be transferred and a change of ownership will require a new business license application.
