Recreation Programs


Softball Player Swinging at a PitchIt's never too late to challenge yourself, learn a new hobby, perfect a new skill, or join in the fun.  Whether as an individual or as part of a team, recreation activities can teach us about ourselves.  Programs such as Sierra Kids, Vacation Station and Youth City Council provide safe and fun environments for recreation and enrichment for hundreds of youth. Dance, swimming and fitness classes are available for people of all ages.  Volunteer opportunities are available at gardens, golf, youth and senior programs.  Reasonable accommodations and financial assistance are provided for residents of all abilities and financial circumstances to participate.

The City of Reno Parks, Recreation and Community Services department appreciates feedback of all kinds, please let us know how we can support your RECREATION by calling (775) 334-2262.

Household Account Form A must be completed (good until May 2017).  This establishes an account with which one can register!  Be sure to include an email address for online registration.

Participant Information Form Participants in Sierra Kids and Camps (Vacation Station) must also complete a Participant Information Form for each participant. This form will be kept in the Youth Office and at each program location a participant attends.

Request for Refund Form To request a refund or credit, or fund transfer, download, print, complete and return the form.

Accommodations Request Form Participants who need accommodations made for disabilities.
