The deadline for the City of Reno’s Special Event Sponsorship Application is Friday, December 7, 2012 at 5:00 p.m. The Special Events Subcommittee of the Reno City Council will make a decision on the awarded sponsorships in the third week of January 2013.

- Northwest Pool will close temporarily to allow for upgrades
The Northwest Pool, located at 2925 Apollo Way, will temporarily close beginning Sunday, April 5, 2015 to allow for facility maintenance and improvements. Work crews will replace the Northwest Pool boiler and address several ADA improvements in the locker rooms and parking lot.
